MediaTec Publishing, a downtown Chicago business-to-business publisher, is seeking a talented and motivated editorial intern to join its growing editorial team. The intern will work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment to produce high-quality content for three magazines and websites. In this role, the intern will be responsible for assisting editorial staff members with researching, writing and editing feature articles, newsletters, blogs, case studies and industry reports/analysis, assisting in production of digital media, including videos and podcasts, and moderating social networks. The successful candidate will be a quick learner, dependable, trustworthy and able to perform under tight deadlines with limited supervision. Hours are flexible and compensation is provided.
Qualifications: Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree in journalism Strong interviewing and writing skills Flexibility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Knowledge of AP style
