Students document trek across South Carolina

Students Lee Walker and Jeremy Aaron earned a coveted Magellan Scholars Grant at the University of South Carolina. They received $5000 to make environmental portraits of people in South Carolina. The students are Visual Communications majors from the Carolinas, and they want to show what they see as assets in the people and places of the region.

They have started a blog to document their progress http://portraitofsc.wordpress.com .

The project includes funding for prints and an exhibit later this year.
