In addition there is a wonderful lineup of Master Classes if students are interested for $600 (includes a Festival Pass). There are no scholarships available for these 2-day classes:
– Hank Willis Thomas– provide conceptual and organizational skills to initiate projects that create greater social interaction and impact. Sounds very interesting for art students.
– Lynsey Addario– preparing, researching, and photographing a story both at home and abroad. This is a great class for aspiring photojournalists.
– David Alan Harvey– bookmaking and the new frontier of self-publishing. How to turn your work into a book!
– Maggie Steber and Ernesto Bazan– How to edit a long-term project. They will help each student craft a strong story of a long-term project they are working on.
There is also a one day Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop Workflow class available on Thursday, June 7 for $100 (does not include Festival Pass) that will go over mostly technical ways to use these Adobe programs.
As always students (including 2012 graduates) are eligible for a reduced rate $75 Festival Pass. These student passes will sell out so do not delay!
